Waste Water Monitoring
The samples of Trade effluent from various industries, Sewage Treatment Plants (STP), Common Effluent Treatment Plants (CETP) Table IV, Municipal Committees etc. are collected by various Regional Offices, Zonal Offices or Special Team constituted by the Board. The samples are analyzed in the Head Office, Laboratory and Zonal Laboratories at Ludhiana and Jalandhar. The analysis results are conveyed to the concerned Regional/Zonal Office for further necessary action. Samples of STPs are also being collected under NRCP of Central Pollution Control Board (Table V) on monthly basis.
